A lot of the PPCnerd Scripts have an optimization strategy setting on the linked control center sheet which allows you to set how you would like the automation scripts to optimize towards a chosen goal/strategy. Whenever there is an option to specify the optimization strategy; there are 3 strategies to choose from:
- Conversion Volume
- CPA (cost per acquisition)
- ROAS (return on ad spend)
Once the optimization strategy is selected, the scripts will then reference the associated performance target per account as they (the scripts) iterate across each account. So for example, if we are running the scripts with a CPA optimization strategy - the scripts will then look up the associated CPA target per account as specified on the CLIENTS tab of the control center sheet; when determining the optimizations. This is why it is important to ensure there are performance target values for each of the accounts listed on your control center sheet; for your chosen optimization strategy.
